Taking scrapbooking, card making, and rubber stamping
classes is lots of fun!
But, as with
everything, there is some important information that you need to know.

CLASS & CROP INFORMATION!
Class Rules:
Ø Each class has a maximum of between eight and sixteen
people (depending on the class topic or unless noted). First come, first
served. Pay in advance to reserve your space.
Ø Classes with less than the minimum number of students
will be cancelled.
Ø To secure your space, you must pay in advance. Payment
can be made in person at the store or over the phone via credit card.
Ø Payment MUST be received no less than 4 days prior to
the class to hold your space. Paid spaces are a priority to unpaid spaces.
Ø These rules are to allow those who really are interested
in taking the class, the ability to secure a space. It is a hardship to
customers to leave them on the wait list until 4 days prior to the class
when there is an unpaid space. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Ø Each class is $12-$50+/- depending on the class,
products included, the prep time for the teacher, etc.
Ø Class fees do not qualify for frequent buyer card discounts
or credit. It also does not count as frequent buyer qualification.
Ø Please remember to check for your list of “What to
bring” for each class. Always bring adhesive.
Crop Rules:
Ø All applicable rules above also apply to crops.
New for 2006:
Ø Beginning with our first crop in 2006, our Late Night
Crops will be 7 hours.
Ø Friday Night Late Nights will be from 4pm to Midnight.
Ø Saturday Night Late Nights will be from 3pm to 11pm.
Ø Late Night crops will be $10 per person (prepaid; see
below)
Ø During your paid crop, you will receive an additional
10% off of all non-sale scrapbook supplies (this is in addition to your
frequent buyer discounts).
Class
& Crop Cancellation:
To help ensure that
your class/crop is held:
Ø Call & pay in advance. Not only is Prepayment of classes and crops
required, it also
could mean the difference between holding and canceling a class or crop
(for example, you might be the 4th person in a class that only
has 3 paid attendees and will cancel if there are less than 4 people). So,
if you really are interested in taking a class/crop, you should call and
pay the class/crop fee at least 4 days prior to the date.
Ø If you will not be able to attend a class/crop that you
have paid for…
o
If you call with
more than 3 days notice will be a store
credit for full amount of fee, unless there is a special
cancellation policy noted.
o
Cancellation of
reserved space with 24-72 hours notice is a store credit for half the cost of the fee, unless there
is a special cancellation policy noted.
o
No refund of fee
for cancellation with less than 24 hours notice before the class/crop
begins.
o
PLEASE NOTE: Some teachers/classes
require different time lines – they will be noted with the class. The
reason is due to the prep time and scheduling required for each class.
Ø THERE
ARE NO EXCEPTIONS! We know that things
come up, but please respect that teachers have prepared for your attendance
and we must still pay them if you cancel with short notice. Additionally, if you are the person who
is the 4th in a class that would cancel with less than 4, it is
an inconvenience to others to cancel the class that they are planning to
attend with such short notice. Alternatively, if you are trying to attend a
class or crop that is sold out, it is unfair to call those on the waiting
list with short notice to see if they can attend in your absence.
Therefore, there are absolutely no exceptions to this cancellation policy.
Ø If WE
cancel a class/crop…
o
…if WE cancel
a class/crop, for any reason, which you have paid for, we will issue you a
full refund for the fee which you paid. (or you
can roll it over to another class, or you can get in-store credit).
Ø Call us to confirm your space and prepay: (858) 679-9100 or
sign up in person. Sorry, you cannot register online.
We
reserve the right to change any of these rules at any time without notice.
