• What’s New Around CSS??
OMG! We have been
SO, SO BUSY this week! We (of course) moved a BUNCH of stuff around! We know that it can be a little frustrating not
being able to find things that you used to know where they were… believe
me, even WE get frustrated sometimes! But we don’t do it to confuse you! We
do it to make things fit better, allow for more space on the floor, display
things clearer and to put “like” items together.
A few
sections/items with new homes include:

California – it’s now between General

Outdoors/Water Sports we moved this entire section of wall to the left. It is now right
next to Beach.

Birthday is on the
front wall right next to Calendar

on the opposite side of the store where Birthday
was, right next to Adhesives

Quickutz – we are
still working on this section, but we are working on putting all of the QK
on the entire rack (instead of a half, like it was) and that rack has been

Music – we are
“commercial free” and have been since November – no more annoying
commercials, just a fabulous mix of music that spans generations! AND, in
the last week, we have added almost 400 more songs! Songs from the 50’s and
60’s, plus yesterday I added more music by Simon & Garfunkel, Elton
John, The Police, The Beatles, John Mellencamp, The Moody Blues, Steve

House!” Oh my gosh!
It felt like “death by flowers” when I was checking this order in! It was a
little overwhelming! (and it’s only about half of what I ordered!). This is
not the entire order… we also received their new “e-line” which is REALLY
affordable flowers. Plus, we received some papers (yes, I’ll be reordering
them – they are almost gone!) and some new GORGEOUS ribbons.

More details on our Dedicated Crop Room…

It is where the former “As Seen On TV Store” was… It is 1,000 square feet. It is 3
doors down from us, next to Jo-Ann’s.

There is a bathroom.
o
We start demolition on the interior walls on
Monday, 2/15. Then, we will have the former floor taken up and ground down.
At that point, we will epoxy seal the floor and paint the walls.
o
The space has a basin for washing out your
paint brushes.
o
There is a back security door that can be
opened during crops for some ventilation, while being locked and feeling
safe and secure!
o
We are collecting menus of local restaurants.
We will have a map of local dining, plus the menus and details in a book
for your review if you need to get something to eat while you are there.
o
The space will be open every Friday through
Sunday – but only certain days per month will be open for a late night.
o
Late night crops will probably be two Fridays a
month and one Saturday a month until 11pm.
o
If you want to get some girlfriends together
and crop on a Monday thru Thursday? If you have 6 or more, we will open the
crop room. (otherwise, you can still crop at the store).
o
Yes, you will still be able to shop and crop –
you’ll run a tab with us at the store just like normal and just pay on the way
out!

BTW, this room will also offer us the
opportunity to hold AMAZING classes with scrapbook celebrities and our own
local celebrity: KATIE WATSON! So, we can allow SO many more people into our
classes now! Classes of 12 or less will still be held at the store, but
larger classes will be moved to our crop room!

can borrow (you’ll leave your credit card as security).

newest release – it’s SOOOO pretty! It’s blues and greens and so soft and
just GORGEOUS! And GREAT card samples came with the stamps!

Monogram Notepads – We got a reorder of every letter that we were out of!

Cropping!!! – we have had a lot of people inquire as to why
we don’t have any Crops scheduled…. Well, the truth can now come out! We
have been “Scheming” on something and today have received confirmation!!!!
WE ARE RENTING A 2nd LOCATION! It is just down the way a few
doors and it is 1,000 square feet of PURE CLASS/CROP ROOM!!! We need to
remodel it a smidge but it should be open by the end of the month!!! We are

a little different for us, but when I was at the LA Gift Show, I saw this
and they SWORE it is just excellent chocolate… and the wrappers are FUNNY!
Anyway, we are selling milk and dark chocolate bars so you can keep your
strength up while shopping!.

trying to shop – we have only small areas blocked off at any one time. All
of the racks are still mostly accessible while Dad
is working and all of us would be happy to help you if you need assistance!
