¨ It was brought to my attention this morning that the email didn’t state that the Slice Machine is excluded from the sale.

The “Fine Print” at the end of the email stated to “See store for any additional details.” For any items not specifically list that are excluded from the sale. Sorry for the oversight! But, yes, the Slice is excluded from the sale amounts. However, you can still get the 10% Frequent Buyer Discount on it (you cannot get the 10% on the Silhouette, Revolution or Squeeze because they are already deep discounted).

• Fixture Update:

LOOKING GOOD! LOTS of compliments on how things are shaping up! We still have things in weird places (like “Cats & Dogs” is currently NO WHERE near “Bugs/Under the Sea” or “Wild West/Animals”) but we are working on it and I put up some temporary (hand written) lime green signage to try to help in the interim.

• New stuff:

¨ Making Memories – 8 more Slice Machines came in! But with our sale, they aren’t staying long! We also received more spatulas and adhesive kits

¨ Notepads – those little notepads that you LOVE are restocked!

¨ Quickutz – a small reorder came in. (but I had 12 shipping notifications in my “In Box” yesterday – so much more is coming!)

¨ 12x12 Heavy Textured Cardstock – The entire collection from American Crafts. Each package is 25 sheets of a single colour and are ONLY $9.99 EACH! We also got in their entire collection in 8.5x11. They are only $6.25 each.

M 11/24/08:

• New Fixtures:

WOW! The store is in “Organized Chaos”, but the new fixtures are going to be AWESOME!

Dad is working on reassembling them as quick as possible and we hope to have them done this week!

Look for new homes for Rubber and Clear Stamps; Pets, Wild West & Under The Sea; Disney & Licenses; Chipboard books; Calendars; Letters; Craft Punches; Lasting Impressions Brass Stencils & 12x12 Paper and OH SO MUCH MORE! We will all be confused for a while!

I can’t even remember what else we have received lately because we are all so busy trying to get the fixtures changed out! J

W 11/19/08:

• New stuff:

¨ Making Memories - the Slice accessories arrived! The spatula, adhesive, and the desktop organizer. Plus a reorder of the machines! We received 4, but had people on the wait list for them, so call today!

¨ Scrapbook Trends, Bead Trends, Cards, and their new “Handmade” book are now out on the floor!

¨ Basic Grey – a reorder of Wassail is in! We are fully restocked on this AWESOME holiday line!

• Tomorrow:

I want to let everyone know that we are getting some new fixtures tomorrow. We cannot install new fixtures when we aren’t open b/c WE ARE ALWAYS OPEN! So we just wanted to “warn” everyone – as always, we will have extra staff on hand to manage the store while the rest of us are switching out the fixtures. So we hope that everyone will be understanding during this time while we are changing things out. Ps – we might have some fixtures for sale soon! J

¨ Dad’s Coming! – he arrives tomorrow! EXCITING!

¨ Fixtures – we are going to be “adopting” some fixtures from “It’s About Time” in Murrieta. I’m very sad for the loss in our scrapbook community of this store, but several of Mel’s fixtures will find a new home at our store on Thursday. (I’ll apologize in advance for the “Fixture Chaos” that will certainly ensue.

11/12/08:

We are back from our last Scrapbook Cruise and I’m SO GLAD to be on land! Wow it was rocky!

And, I’m working on getting caught up on everything. GOSH we have gotten SO MUCH done!

• Clearance: We are closing out our boxed invitations. They are all 50% off while they last.

• On Sale: Quickutz Revolution Table Top Die Cut Machines are still $49.99 – while they last! I think we have 4 more left.

¨ Doodlebug – their new Hocus Pocus and Merry & Bright are in. And, because you know that we do not overprice our products, we actually have several of these items BELOW “Suggested Retail”. While, I thought they were REALLY CUTE, once I realized the price, I couldn’t possibly price them at those prices! So, the super cute brads, ribbons, and more are BELOW RETAIL!

¨ Wassail – Yes – it’s in. Yes, we have the calendars. Yes, they are FLYING out the door! You’ll want to come and get yours asap!

• What’s New: We have been entering new product just as quickly as possible! Here is what is new out on our floor right now!

o Basic Grey – we got in a TON of BG and it is all out now! Their Christmas line (Wassail) is being checked in right now and should be all out as of first thing tomorrow!

o Petaloo – new jeweled flowers – some that are just perfect for holiday cards!

o Sakura Glaze Pens – almost every colour is back in stock

o Wedding papers – new papers from Paper Adventures that are perfect for your invitations and wedding pages.

o Disney – new Disney, including Lilo & Stitch and other characters you have wanted!

• SO MUCH more new product! – as always, we are continuing to check in new products EVERY DAY!.

o Decorative Chipboard Boxes – we got in these beautiful boxes today that are made from chipboard, have removable lids and the lids have beautiful decorative cutouts – two styles: Round and Heart shaped. I had customers tell me that they would pay up to $8.99 each! THEY ARE ONLY $3.99! (but if you want to give us the extra $5…. Lol!)

o Wood Products – we got in some amazing items that would be great with Glimmer Mist, Twinkling H2O’s, papers, rubons and more – and would make amazing gifts and home décor items!

o Quickutz – their new “all-in-one” storage system and accessories – we had 3 of the unit… we have 1 now. (yes, we put them out today… yes, we will order more!)

o Luxe Designs – Sugar Cookie, Gingersnap, and Candycane – their holiday lines, are all in stock!

o Hampton Arts – new wood and clear stamps.

W 10/1/08:

• New Racks – we got another new paper rack today! Thanks Cindy and Gina! It has greatly improved our Fall/Thanksgiving section…

• Moved Around – Ok – can I just say how excited I am for our new pen area? It is AWESOME We’re still finalizing our big move around but we’re all SO excited about the changes!

• New Products – As always, we have put out new products!

o New wood products and gems from Kaiser

o Quickutz – they had another interim release of election related dies.

o Bazzill – OH GEEZ! 9 boxes of cardstock – and that was just shipment number 1 of 4! YIKES! It is all out and ready for you though!

Oh – and did I mention that we got over 50 boxes today? MY OH MY!

M 9/29/08:

• Email – our mail server was down from mid Saturday until late Sunday. If you sent an email to us and didn’t get a reply, or if you got a bounce-back message, please send the email again! We didn’t get any of the lost emails… sorry!

• Our new clearance displays are DONE! The final piece arrived today and we added them and WE LOVE THEM! And now we have so many more shopping baskets for you to use! …Some days we were really scrambling to have them for you – but now we should be all set! YIPPEE!

• Moved Around – WOW! WHERE TO START! We have moved a bunch around this week (month) to keep improving the store to be even better than before! Here are a few of the updates:

o We have a new display area for all of our Scrapbook Refills And Hardware. One customer commented that it was the “best display she has ever seen” for refills!

o We have a new home for our BILLIONS of Pens

o We are in the middle of this next one – but we are moving our Greeting Cards – and they will be SO much easier to see and find and just PERFECT! This one is not complete, but we have to order new displays. So, we are about half done.

o Clear Stamps – we had to make some room, so we are in the middle of rearranging them, but trying to get them a better display. This one is still in progress too, but we’ll be done this week.

o Our card making accessories, seals and such have new home now, too.

o Page Pebbles and Stitches items have moved

o And we are looking for a new home for our die cut shapes so, this is TBA… lol!

o Plus, we moved our extensive selection of Calendar Supplies up front for the season!

o OH! And Ribbons – they have more space now! We will be spending more time this week getting them reorganized.

All of the employees and I are just LOVING the improvements we have made! We hope you do too!

• What’s new: Still we have checked in new items for you!

o Bo Bunny – TONS of paper – probably 30 of their Double Dot cardstocks; plus Splendor, Beautiful Life, Beau Jardin, My Darling, Spooktastick, Holiday Cheer, and Believe. Plus, their new Big Chipboard Books. AND lots of the Stamp & Store clear stamps, and the new BEAUTIFUL rubons! Plus, we had a few reorder items.

o Little Yellow Bicycle – most of their Halloween line is in stock now.

Baby Bob… One final “note” and then I’ll try to not bring it up again – one of my reps actually made a donation to the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in Baby Bob’s name. I got the letter this week and just “lost it”. For those who don’t know, UC Davis is known for its Vet Medicine School and does AMAZING research. What an amazingly kind and surprising gift. Thanks again Jenny!

Susan: I’m sure you remember Susan who worked for us until her husband was transferred to Japan with the military. Well, her husband has been out here recently with the Kitty Hawk so I have taken some time off to go and “play tourist” with him! So, while I’m sorry that I haven’t been in the store much lately, I’ve had so much fun with Erik and it’s also been nice to be just “one degree away” from Susan. I love you both! ♥

8/6/08:

Baby Bob… Many of you have met my two kitties who visited the store about once a month: Bob and Robert, known as “The Bob’s”. And you might know that my cats are like family to me. It is with a very heavy heart today that I announce that Baby Bob was killed by a coyote Monday night/Tuesday morning. He had snuck out of the house with his “Houdini-like” skills on Monday. Tuesday I found some fur and remains in a park by my home.

Many of you met Bob as he was lying on the red rug as you entered the store, or on the counter as you were trying to check out.

Bob was one of the friendliest, most outgoing cats I’ve ever met. And he definitely had the biggest personality.

Robert and I are missing him terribly.

If I’m sad or quiet at the store, please understand that I am not intending to be rude, I’m just mourning.

6/19/08:

Well, I took a little time off this week! I worked limited hours at the store on Monday afternoon and ACTUALLY didn’t go into the store both Tuesday and Wednesday (my “normal weekly two days off” – which I usually work at the store!!!) Of course, I did a ton of store work at home – including working on the Cross-Promotional event we have with Scrapbook Your Life (off Rosecrans in San Diego). But the last few days were just LOVELY! I went to the pool twice, I worked around the house and yard a smidge, and I got to spend some time with the kitties! But LOTS of product arrived this week and we checked in a ton! So, here are a few things (I’m a little “out-of-touch” so it’s not everything!)

§ 7 Gypsies – We got this in a while ago, but I forgot to mention

1. We have ALL of the new ATC products

2. We have ALL of the photo carousel products

3. We have ALL of the stamp storage products

And, btw, we just remerchandized them so WOW!

§ Glitz - We checked in their product a few weeks ago and I missed entering it here! It’s GREAT bling, plus AWESOME paper and doodle rollers!

§ Bazzill – we FINALLY received their bitty blossoms that they released at the winter CHA show.

§ Charms - it is so hard for me to find new charms! I just don’t find a lot of companies making them, but I did order several from one of the few companies currently making them…

§ Mrs Grossman’s – we received a HUGE reorder of her stickers.

5/25/08:

• Monday Madness! We had extra staff on hand today to try to get through as many boxes as possible and I am proud to report that we are down to “only” 40 boxes yet to open! Here is some of what we checked in today!:

Some of these boxes have been in the store since March, so believe me, no one is more excited to have these done than me!

5/20/08:

• “BYBTW Day”: Many of you have met two of my kitties: Bob & Robert (collectively referred to as “The Bobs”). Well, we had “Bring Your Bobs To Work Day” today and I just wanted to thank everyone who had fun with The Bobs today. And I’m sorry to all of you who wanted to see them and missed them! They had a great time and are now resting after their “Big Day Out”. J

• New Stuff: Well, since I was technically off today, the fact that I still checked in a few things should be “impressive” LOL!

5/18/08:

• New Products: It was just a few boxes, but yesterday I was able to check in:

o Ribbons!!!! – Lots of GORGEOUS ribbons! Several different styles with butterflies. Plus, ones with flowers, “LOVE”, 4^th of July, Thanksgiving, and more. Plus, lots of ric rac and other great basics.

5/17/08:

• WOW! It was a hot one today! So, our store stayed a very comfortable 78 degrees and low humidity! If you are looking for a place to escape the heat – come and join us in our comfortably air conditioned store! Hours & Directions.

5/16/08:

• This Week…

We have mostly spent this week putting out the product from the DOZENS of boxes of product that we had checked in. I did get a little more checked in today – some pens, some ink, a bunch of adhesive, a bunch of Pull-EZ ribbon holders, all of the Bazzill, some note pads, and a few other items. J

• On another note: I know that the news kept saying what a hot day today was going to be and it WAS really hot in Poway today... (and I’m probably jinxing myself here), but isn’t it a LOVELY evening? The air just smells SO good and it’s cooled off quite nicely. (well, where I am, at least). I hope that everyone in east county has cooled down enough to sleep through the night!!!!

• Congratulations! To Matt & Alexis – they are having a BOY!

Ps – apparently, if you are interested in having a male baby, you should work at Cool Scrapbook Stuff. We are 3-for-3!!

5/13/08:

• And then there was MORE!

• Regarding Robert... To all who wanted to know, Robert’s surgery went REALLY well (Robert is one of my cats – he comes to the store to “work” about once a month or so, along with his “Brother”, Bob. They are not even 2 years old). Robert has a hereditary dental condition that rotted his teeth away under the gum line. I think the vet said he pulled 18 teeth. Robert was under for more than 2½ hours, but the doctor said that he did really well under anesthesia. Today, Robert is up and around and you would never know that anything happened! He is eating and playing and getting into trouble, as usual!

5/12/08:

• More New! I only did one order yesterday, but it was a 22 page invoice! AGH!!!! It was 22 pages of EK Success products. All of it was reorder – lots of graduation items are back in stock now. Plus a “billion” Jolee’s! Plus punches and lots more!

I will be working on more today!

Plus, I hired a new teacher today – Kristie Steffans. She teaches in Riverside County now and is going to teach one class a month for us! We have our first date scheduled and I expect the sample this next week.

We have been focusing on putting out the BASKETS of product that we have checked in and on the tables!

4/25/08:

4/24/08:

• New: So, it turns out that I only check in barely over 2 boxes per hour of work L. At that rate, we will never catch up! LOL!

But here’s what we did today!

ü Fiskars – 13 boxes of Fiskars, Heidi Grace, Cloud 9 and Kimberly Poloson! It was tons of stuff! Paper, stickers, ribbon, stamps, craft punches, and more. For baby, sports, pets, general… I mean, really, it was SO much great stuff and the girls were having a BLAST seeing what was in there!

ü Lasting Impressions – Alexis checked in another order of Lasting Impressions! This one was a reorder of brass stencils, plus a reorder of papers.

• Moved stuff around: Well, you know me – I can’t keep things the way that they are!!! So, today we moved around the entire left side of the store! WOW! It didn’t actually take too long, but scrapbooks, 8½x11, invitations, card packs, storage and more are all moved around! MySpace friends can check out pictures online!

• New: OF COURSE, before we moved the store around, we checked in some items – of course, we only checked in 6 boxes, but we got 19 today so we didn’t make any “net progress” – maybe this weekend! Here’s the reader’s digest version:

4/12/08:

Isn’t the weather tonight just BEAUTIFUL?!! It’s finally cooling off and there is that amazing smell in the air of “spring” – so crisp and clean. OH!!! I just love it! Anyway, down to business!! Here is my update for today…

• MORE NEW PRODUCTS! Well, I’m not sure how many boxes I’ve entered, but we’re doing pretty well! We’re at least entering more than are arriving, which is the only way to cut down the number sitting around!!! But don’t worry – it doesn’t mean that we aren’t getting in more boxes every day! Anyway, here’s what we checked in lately:

ü Custom School Items – we got in a HUGE order of paper, stickers, chipboard, brads, etc. Here is a list of the local high schools that we currently carry.

ü Travel papers and Stickers - including a BUNCH for the East Coast trip! Plus, we received a ton of other locations! Including several of the less “commonly” found including: Cairo, Austria, Israel, Portugal, Niagara Falls, New Zealand, Costa Rica, and tons more! (yes, we also received a bunch of items for the “more common” destinations!

ü American Crafts – new DRing Scrapbooks in Corduroy in 8x8, 8.5x11, and 12x12, plus tons of ribbon, new thickers, rubons, and stickers.

ü Zutter – I forgot to tell you that we got in their Clipboard and Acrylic covers… and unfortunately, a couple of them were bought out immediately! Don’t worry – we’ll order more! Plus, we received their new Baby Pink and Baby Blue coloured coils.

ü Fancy Pants – I only checked in the small box (there is another HUGE box that I need to do), but we received a few of their new papers, journal cards, and rubons.

ü And I forgot to tell you that the Boing Glue Holders are back in stock! Keep your liquid adhesive with the tip down for quick and easy use!

4/10/08:

• Only 76 More To Go!!! Yup – we have “Only” 76 boxes left to check in! UGH! We are cranking through them just as quickly as possible! Some more items that were put out lately:

ü East Coast Trip – First, let me say that we have staged an entire rack just for the 8^th Grade East Coast trip. We know that the kids have to do scrapbooks for their grade, so we have ordered extras of lots of items for you and put them all in one area – for your convenience!

ü EK – their April release, including extra of any thing East Coast Trip, and their new large scalloped punches (these are better than McGill’s b/c they are lever so they are easier to use)

ü Three Bugs – their brand new clear stamps are in stock.

ü Paper Wizard – lots of new REALLY detailed die cuts! Pirates, Military, East Cost Trip, and more!

ü Custom School Stuff – we are NO WHERE near done with this order, but we have put out several new and reorder papers for the local high schools. Like I said though, I am chipping away at it – but it is a GINORMOUS order! And it includes lot of East Coast Trip!

4/8/08:

• More New Product: We are trying like crazy to check in stuff as quickly as we can! So, here are a few more new items that are out on our floor!

We have a table out front with baskets full of items that are all 40% off! And I have a GIANT basket of stuff that I will be adding to it this week!

• CRUISE UPDATE!!!! OK – I was originally told that we could only fit 24 people in the scrapbook room on the new cruise line that we are using – so I had said that we were sold out, but apparently, after I found my notes on the dimensions of the room, that is not true! SOOOOoooooo… OUR NOVEMBER CRUISE HAS MORE SPACE! Come in to sign up today! But, yes, space is limited!

3/23/08 am:

• OH MY! Ok – so, we received our new fixtures on Friday at 8:30am. And the guys were GREAT about trying to stay out the way while they assembled and installed them… and we had some glitches as to how they were made (Not up to spec in several ways so we didn’t get the same “Value” that we should have), but regardless, we were ALL excited!

And SO ARE THE CUSTOMERS! They look AWESOME! We have had SOOOOO many great customer comments!!!!

I had EVERY available employee work every day all weekend – which was: 8 people who worked on Friday and 6 on Saturday (and both Jackie and I put in over 7 hours each on Sunday), but we are STILL trying to get all of the items into their new homes… We appreciate your patience while we continue to work out our adjustments. J

Differences… so far you will notice --- well, there are a MILILION, but a few of the ‘highlights’ are:

ü The ribbon is in an entirely new area! (and it looks AWESOME!)

ü We have a larger rubber stamp/clear stamp area!

ü Ink pads are in a new place.

ü Craft punches have a new home

ü Card Making supplies are still working their way to their final destination (But it looks SO good!)

ü Brads have their side and eyelets have their side (no fighting allowed!)

ü Grungeboard – you don’t have to ASK anymore!

ü Glimmer Mist – well, WOW! We got in SOOOOOOO much right as we were doing this and it has SUCH a prominent display! (plus, it is also up front with ‘what’s new’. But the chipboard and stencils are with it.

ü The bling has its own “home”

ü 7gypsie’s is still mostly all together. ATC’s are still in a separate place (but the Transparencies came back into stock with our reorder last Monday!)

ü Buttons have a new home.

ü And a BUNCH more!!!

3/21/08 am:

• Update: So, we had to box up a BUNCH of stuff yesterday for our pending fixture arrival this morning. We tried to keep it down to a minimum, but all of the brads, eyelets, craft punches, most of the clear stamps and a few other things are in boxes. The ribbon, 7Gypsie’s, bling, and a few other areas will get boxed this morning while they first fixtures are being assembled. We also started to remerchandise the Card Making area… So, it’s a little chaotic but we hope to have it all put back out by tonight. (Fingers crossed!)

• PLUS! We received 16 boxes yesterday! YIKES! I couldn’t spend too much time on it and one of the staff has been out sick, so I didn’t get a lot checked in but I did finish:

ü SEI – The entire Chick-a-Dee and Chick-a-Doo lines, plus the matstacks for Dill Blossom, and a reorder of Jolie Chocolat.

ü Basic Grey – I started on it but didn’t get far. I’ll try to get to it today in between “Adventures” today!

• News Flash! I will be receiving a CASE OF UN-DU tomorrow! Come and get it while it’s in stock! I had to jump through some hoops but we’ll have it out on the shelves again first thing Saturday, 3/22.

3/19/08 am:

• ON A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT NOTE… So, All of my updates have been about new product (b/c we have just been SOOOO inundated!), but we have more exciting news! I had some custom fixtures made for our embellishment area and THEY ARRIVE FRIDAY! I cannot tell you how excited I am! That area will be able to hold SOOOOOO much more product with these fixtures! I’m meeting the delivery guys first thing on Friday morning and they are going to even install them, so while we will probably be in disorder for the next few days, by Friday night, we should be back up and running and EVEN BETTER THAN EVER!!!! YIPPEE!!

But don’t worry, we are still checking in new product every minute we get! I’m supposed to be off today, but I’m going in to work on new stuff for you! J I’ll try to post again tonight.

3/18/08:

• WE HAVE BEEN KEEPING BUSY! Sorry to miss a few days here, but believe me, we have still been checking in thousands of products. We have been trying to open the boxes and check things in as quickly as possible, so we have a bunch of stuff out on the tables, but feel free to shop there! We’ll get them put out as quickly as possible. But to update you on some more items we have checked in!

ü Glimmer Mist – SO many new colours! We ordered every colour that we were out of, every colour that we haven’t ever had, plus all of the new colours! The 2oz bottles are only $6.99, but we got in some of the top colours in the 4oz bottles, too and they are only $9.75 for twice as much!!

ü Other Tattered Angels products – we also received their instructional DVD, their chipboard, and their stencils.

ü Making Memories – we got in a reorder including the Garden Party and 5^th Avenue items that were still available. We sold out of them SO quickly that a bunch of you missed out the first time, so come quickly!

ü Flair – a reorder of their Family Collections line, plus their new Keeping The Faith line and their Easter collection

ü Masterpiece Studios – new and reorder of their amazing papers!

ü 7 Gypsie’s – a reorder of the ATC holders, cards, transparencies and more.

3/14/08:

• YUP-WE ADDED MORE TODAY! so, we received 15 more boxes today – I didn’t get through them all, but I did a few of them…

ü Kokuyo!!!! – FINALLY came in! It has been backordered at my distributor for WAY too long, but we got plenty in today!

ü Stickles – lots of stickles reorder came in today. Both the .5 oz and the 1 oz.

ü Dream Street Papers – 7 of their newest collections!

ü Die Cuts With a View – the order is out and ready to go! Lots of matstacks, papers, glitter stacks, quote books, and SO much more!

ü Inks – we got in some Stazon, and several Colorbox inks.

ü We-R Memory Keepers – Leather 3Ring Binders – a bunch in both 12x12 and 8.5x11 and some more Crop-A-Diles and Lime Cases.

ü We’re still in the middle of a BUNCH of orders, plus we have a ton more boxes to do. I’ll get as much done tomorrow as possible! J

3/13/08:

• WE’RE STILL GOING! We have just been checking in SO much product lately! It’s a little CRAZY! We have a ton of stuff on the tables right now b/c we are checking it in so quickly and can’t put it out fast enough! So, a few of the items added to the tables today

ü Travel – lots of travel paper, stickers, die cuts, and chipboard. LOTS for your east coast trip, too!

3/12/08:

• AND THEN THERE WAS MORE! Ok – we have a TON of boxes and we are cruising through them just as quickly as possible… so here is more of what we have completed:

• BUSY BEES! We got a bunch more checked in yesterday and today! Here are a few highlights:

ü 7Gypsie’s – we received a reorder plus a FEW of their new items including their ATC Transparencies. Most of my order is backordered unfortunately – including the new ATC Punch – but it IS on order!

3/7/08:

• AND STILL there was more new stuff! Ok – honestly, we have checked in probably 40 boxes in the last two days! Here are some more updates!

• What’s new? SO MUCH!: Well, even though I haven’t posted, I hope you know that we have continued to put out new product every day!!!! Here are just a few of the items that we have received and put out on the floor:

ü American Crafts – I TOTALLY forgot to tell you about the HUGE order of THICKERS and rubons we received! We also received some of their ribbon by the yard (more to come soon)

ü Jenni Bowlin – NEW FOR US! Yes, we got in several of her VERY COOL items!

ü Note Pads – you’ve all enjoyed our “bling’d out” note pads, but now we also have metal-encased note pads with pens! VERY COOL! And only $6.99 each! Refill note pads are available for only $1.99! YOU WILL LOVE THESE!

ü Embellishments & Brads – we got in a reorder of a bunch of mini brads. Plus, the metal embellishments that I used on the clock sample are BACK IN STOCK! SO many have asked about them and they are in stock again!

ü Technique Tuesday – lots of their new clear stamps, plus a reorder of several.

ü Creating Keepsakes - we received a HUGE reorder of idea books from them that also arrived with PHOTO FREEDOM!

I FOR SURE have forgotten some items here!!! And, we have a BILLION boxes up stairs that we still need to get through! We are checking in product just as quickly as possible! So, if you want to know if we have something, just give us a buzz!

I enjoyed a lovely “day off” yesterday… really, it just meant that I did all of my work from home for about 12 hours, but I DIDN’T EVEN LEAVE THE HOUSE YESTERDAY! (and that was WONDERFUL!). Today was another “day off” so, I was “only” at the store from 11am to 4pm…. Not bad!!!! Hey, it’s part of the glamour of owning your own business! J

3/2/08:

• Operation Replenish: We are done and exhausted! We shared scrapbook supplies with 104 families who lost their homes in the October Wildfires.

ü What happens now? Well, we have made some baskets of some of the remaining products. We are working on packaging them up and photographing them and then YOU will buy auction tickets. The money raised will go to “adopt” two families who lost their homes in the October Wildfires… So STAY TUNED!

• What’s New: I checked in a few items this weekend. These are the only two that I can remember right now:

2/26/08:

• Operation Replenish:

The first weekend of Operation Replenish supplied 77 families with crafting supplies – if you know any crafters who lost their homes in the October wildfires, they still have three days to collect supplies for free – this Friday thru Sunday – see above.

• New stuff:

We’ve been SO busy with Operation Replenish, that I haven’t done much updating – sorry about that! Here are some of the new items we have received:

2/13/08:

• Shoplifter!

· Hey! I wanted to thank everyone at our crop last Friday night! You all helped us to catch a SHOPLIFTER! She will be going to jail for a LONG TIME! Don’t worry, we will DEFINITELY be prosecuting! Thank you everyone for being so concerned about the store! Theft raises the prices for everyone!

• The Winter CHA Trade Show:

· Wowwy, wow, wow, wow! K – that’s all that I can tell you! I just got back from our biggest trade show of the year and I bought SOOOO much! We will be moving a bunch of items to clearance in order to make room for what’s coming!

· I have posted a list of vendors that we have bought from so far… plus, I have a long list of vendors whose catalogs we brought home with us so we’ll be doing MORE ORDERING! YIKES!

· I Bought some new fixtures for the store! they will be AWESOME! With these fixtures, we will be able to merchandise SO much more product for you! They will be here within a month!

· Special thanks to Randi Wall who came with me and was just AWESOME! She had great input and did a bunch of running around to collect catalogs and info. Plus, she is just an amazing friend and so much fun!!!! THANKS RANDI! (and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!)

2/1/08:

I’ve been so bad at updating lately but we have received SO MANY new items lately!

ü Photo Albums without Page Protectors! - I told you guys that I had ordered some and we received in three of the orders already. One was just partial order – a few of the colours and the spine covers were backordered, but you can definitely get an idea of what is on it’s way. I’m REALLY excited for these! One brand has optional slip on page protectors, plus it has the option to add top loading page protectors!

I can’t think of anything else right now, but I know I’m forgetting things!

1/22/08:

• Love Story: by Making Memories – we got in most of the line today. We have a limited amount of paper, so come in today! We do have more embellishments coming!

• Exciting News! We have had so many people who wanted scrapbooks that didn’t have page protectors so that they could use as a photographic Guest Book for weddings. Until now, we have had limited choices!! BUT, I’m so excited to report that I found not just one, but THREE new companies who make them! And one of the companies even has refill pages! They come in a few different sizes, too. I asked for immediate shipping, so we should be getting them within the next two weeks!

1/17/08:

• Operation Replenish: We have the location, we have the dates, now we need your help!

Fire Survivors:

I know that a lot of you have been asking if we are planning anything for the fire survivors. I have posted it before, but in case you haven’t seen it – yes. I have been working with the Mayor’s Office in Poway plus I am coordinating with about 40 stores from LA on down plus about a dozen manufacturers to create an event called “Operation Replenish”.

We will be collecting unused paper & stickers (etc) and gently used tools from anyone who wishes to donate. They will be given to those who suffered a loss.

DATES:

· We will be accepting donations beginning 2/1 until 2/17.

· Fire Survivors with proper Fema or Red Cross paperwork will be allowed to pick up merchandise at no charge from Friday 2/22-Sunday 2/24 and again from Friday 2/29-Sunday March 2^nd. Hours from 11am-7pm (No admittance after 5:30pm daily)

· If you would like to volunteer your time and help sort the products or “man” the space, please send us an email with your availability during those days, and between 2/17-2/21 for setup.

• Love Story By Making Memories: Well, I was let down by Making Memories. Although I was one of the first stores to place my order for the Love Story line, they sold out, have no intentions of making more, and they never shipped my order. I’m so sorry if you were one of the customers who I told that we would “definitely” have it. I have found a few pieces from Distributors, and Making Memories scrounged up every spare piece that they had and it will be here asap. I’m so sorry if you get locked out of this line, b/c I personally thought it was one of the best valentine’s lines I’d seen in a long time.

BTW - This is the third line that Making Memories has run out of prior to satisfying customer needs. I really hope that they don’t do that to us all again!

• And then there were more: Boxes, that is! GEEZ! Barely a few days break and here we are again cranking in product! Well, here is what we have received so far “this year” (sounds weird, eh?)

ü SEI’s Jolie line – this is a BEAUTIFUL Valentine’s line. Mostly paper. Just gorgeous!

ü Basic Grey’s Two Scoops – mostly pinks and greens. It’s a non-traditional Valentine’s line.

ü Quickutz’s Valentine’s release – lots of revolution dies, and a few 2” dies and cookie cutters.

ü Making Memory’s – February edition

And we are working on 8 boxes of Best Creations brand new products, plus the My Mind’s Eye Valentine’s release.

And we have had several email confirmations about shipments that are on their way!

1/3/08:

• 2008: Wow! Can you believe it’s 2008?! I certainly can’t! Of course, we received our first shipment today! Yup – it looks like 2008 will have just as many new products as 2007! GEEZ! Hard to keep up!

If your 2008 resolution is to start Scrapbooking, our first beginner class is on Saturday, January 26^th

We also have our crops for the next few months scheduled. They are still only $10.

We are working on putting out new products so, of course, we are moving stuff around again. But we’re trying to keep the movement down to a minimum!

I’ll be creating a December recap that I’ll post soon (hopefully!).

I cannot tell you how excited I am! From 300 square feet within my ex-husband’s store… to 700 square feet on Poway Road near Community… to 1,100 square feet where we were... and now to 4,800 (3,600 is dedicated to retail space!) in our new home!

We have the largest selection of products in San Diego!

And I have my amazing customers and fantastic staff to thank for it!

And, did you know that our store is organized by TOPIC? It makes it SO much easier for you to find what you are looking for and to see all items in a theme at one glance! We were the first to do this and have had several follow suit because the customers just LOVE it! I hear DAILY how much people love to shop this way!

Don’t worry, things like Basic Grey, Wild Asparagus, Chatterbox, Bohemia, Magnolia, etc, are all kept together for those who shop by brand! These are “collections” and it would make no sense to split them up! J

We no longer accept the yellow punch cards. The old punch cards began being changed out 2/1/04 and expired 5/30/04.

· We ran a three month conversion program for your yellow cards. From Saturday, February 28, 2004 to Sunday, May 30, 2004, you were allowed to change them in for equal credit.

· We sent press releases to over 30 local newspapers in San Diego and Riverside Counties, posted signs at our store, listed it on the front page of our website, sent out three emails to all of those on our email list and sent postcards to anyone whose email address we didn’t have.
