More details on our Dedicated Crop Room…
o
It is where the former “As
Seen On TV Store” was… It is 1,000 square feet. It is 3
doors down from us, next to Jo-Ann’s.
o
YES! There is a bathroom down there.
That has been our #1 question!!!
o
The space has a basin for
washing out your paint brushes.
o
There is a back security door
that can be opened during crops for some additional ventilation, while
being locked and feeling safe and secure!
o
We have a binder of local
menus. And a SPECIAL THANKS to Luanne from the Chamber of Commerce for
bringing us a BIG folder of menus!
o
BTW, this room will also offer
us the opportunity to hold AMAZING classes with scrapbook celebrities and
our own local celebrity: KATIE WATSON! So, we can allow SO many more people
into our classes now! Classes of 10 or less will still be held at the
store, but larger classes will be moved to our crop room!
o
The Spot will be open every
Friday through Sunday. Large classes will be held at the Crop Spot,
therefore, there will not always be open cropping available.
o
Late night crops will be
offered periodically.
o
Yes, you will still be able to
shop and crop – you’ll run a tab with us at the store just like normal and
just pay when your are ready to leave.
o
We whave
an ipod and ipod player
that you can borrow.
o
YES! There are PLENTY of
outlets for your Cricuts and Slice Machines! There are at least 14 outlets!! Please
remember to bring your own extension
cord – at this point, we will not be providing them.
o
Current maximum is 22 if a full table, and 44 if a half table.
o
We do not provide drinks, but
we have a soda machine in the store (80¢ for a water and $1 for a soda/iced
tea). And there is a Liquor Store with a selection of drinks and snacks just
a few doors down from The Hot Crop Spot – say “hi” to Marvin when you are
down there!
o
There is a kitchen at the
store with a full sized refrigerator and microwave that you will have full
access to.
o
Nearly full crops will have
“suggested seating charts” to ensure that you are sitting with your
friends!
o
We would think this would be a given, but everyone at a crop, must
be cropping. IE: if they are too young, or not croppers, or
doing homework, it’s not appropriate. This space is for cropping. And
croppers go to get away from the rest of “life”.

Yes, you need to prepay to secure and
guarantee your space. Call us to confirm your space

credit card. Or you can sign up in
person with cash, check or a credit card.

Other
Important Information
·
If you want to get some girlfriends together
and crop on any open day from Monday thru Thursday during business hours,
so long as you get 6 or more, we will open the crop room. (otherwise, you
can still crop at the store).
·
You must prepay to secure your space.
·
Crop fees do not qualify for frequent buyer
card discounts or credit and are not subject to any discounts.
·
Crop fees do not count as frequent buyer
qualification.
·
If you are interested in cropping at the store
at times when the Crop Spot is not open, you can crop at our tables inside
the store during regular business hours. The fee
is just $2 per hour, and if you spend more than $20 pre-tax in products
while you are there, the fee is waived. You must call in advance to make sure that we have table
space for you.
If
You Need To Cancel Your Reservation
·
For full in store credit, your crop seat must
be cancelled a FULL 72 hours prior to the start time of the crop.
Otherwise, your crop fee will be forfeited.
·
Cancellations, for any reason, will only have
the possibility of in store credit – sorry, no refunds.
·
If the crop is sold out and we can also resell
your seat, you will get full store credit, regardless of cancellation
timing.

The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
is “in the process” of being repaired. There apparently has NEVER been heat
at this location! Can you believe it? The landlord is going through the
process of getting SDGE to install one. Until then, we have a space heater.
