We have collected products from customers and manufacturers to be provided at no charge to anyone proving a loss during the October Wildfires.

 

Please keep in mind that all time and products are being volunteered…

ü    Starbucks – who is providing coffee for us.

ü    My landlord for putting up with the 6 THOUSAND questions I’ve had!

ü    Anyone who has tried to get to the bathroom in my store over the last few weeks b/c WOW we had a TON of donations BLOCKING THE PATH!!!

ü    Angel Ryan, Wendi Hohensee, Dayle Shimamura, and Jenn Johnson for the billions of loads of product that they brought over to the space from our store!!!

ü    Also: Camille Akin (and her son and his buddy), and the Scrappin’ In The Hills ladies (Cindy & Elaine), and Vesta from Scrapbook Boulevard in Victorville for moving all of the donations to the stie.

ü    And John & Zach Akin (From Ever After) for collecting 24 tables at 7pm on a Sunday night when we were all pooped out and boxing stuff and hauling stuff. Thanks guys!

ü    Carrie and her crew from Wildfire Recovery

ü    Elena & Melanie and their crew from Scrapbook Royalty – Elena and Mel helped prepare our space, manned it, and are helping with clean up. Scrapbook Royalty is a Charitable Organization which will be “adopting” one or two families affected to help them recover from their loss. Stay tuned b/c we are going to be raising more funds with them!

ü    JR’s Affairs Rentals in Escondido – for providing 10 tables with zero notice and at no charge!!! AWESOME!

ü    San Diego Scrap Inn in Escondido (a scrapbook retreat space) - for providing 14 tables with zero notice and at no charge!!! And you delivered!!! You guys FREAKIN’ ROCK! (www.SDScrapInn.com – 760-735-8983)

ü    Jo-Ann’s Fabrics – the one store in the center who did NOT get mad at us for using a few of their shopping carts for a few days…

ü    And how about Randi Wall who has been at the site practically every minute of every day since we got it! WOW! ABOVE AND BEYOND girlfriend!

ü    Jackie Kwapnoski and her husband!!!! Jackie works for me but has spent most of her waking hours doing prep and working the site. AND HER HUSBAND!!! He worked late Thursday at his job so that he could work the site all day on Friday! HOLY COW! How awesome! And they brought lights and chairs – which were so needed! And have continued to work it every spare moment.

ü    Dayle Shimamura (again)!!! Another employee who has just spent hours and hours of her “off” time at the site organizing and “manning” – Dayle – you are GREAT!!!! I can’t thank you enough!
